I went to two things today: 1. Bandstand Busking and 2. The Moonshine Jamboree Christmas Party. They were both very nice. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the day (I took quite alot), the rest are on my Flickr.
Here are 3 photos of Tristram & his lovely band, my favourite of the buskers:

Can you tell how cold it was from those photos? Then, through a magical twist of time and distance, I went to the Slaughtered Lamb. Joe played, he looks pretty cool with that pentagram behind him:

Then, because I sat in the same place while all the acts played, all my photos from the Slaughtered Lamb look the same. They’re on my Flickr should you wish to see them anyhow. Lots of bands played, including Tristram, Lofty Heights and Jake Bellows. And here is a photo of my friend and show promoter extraordinaire Anthony Chalmers (The Moonshine Jamboree/God Don’t Like It) looking pretty suave:

Good times.

Some photos of cellist Hildur Gudnadóttir, who also plays cello in Múm. She was supporting Fever Ray and was fantastic. +10 points for the amazing head warmer:

Lost in Hildurness. Great name.

I have been supremely busy these past couple of days, and alas, no time for blogging. But fear not! I am about to do a giant catch up. In the mean time, here is a photo my wonderful, amazing friend Bobbles took at The Allotment yesterday:

So many amazing, wonderful, sweet people there! In the photo you can see Lynn and I, our friend Alan who runs the brilliant Wears The Trousers, Adam- our door custodian, Helen- our cake maker and merch lady extraordinaire, Alessi- our amazing, talented, sweet and wonderful friend, Chris who is a gem in the London music world and runs Broken Sound Music, home to Forest Fire, and a bunch of our brilliant, kind and supportive friends. What a whole load of win squished into one frame!

Here is a nice big photo of Markland (Sleeping States) today:

The leaves were too pretty not to have them in a portrait photo. I asked Markland after the busk and he was lovely and kicked some leaves around and let me take his photo.
I like to take portrait photos. If you are a band or a random person and would like me to take your photo then that would be fun. Or if you ever would like me to photo a show or something, that would be fun too.
Send emails to: anikainlondon@gmail.com please and thank you.

Enjoyable show. Two photos here, the rest here.

Will review the show soon. I like Barbican (apart from that shows there are ’spensive).

Hurray! A giant massive well done to Lynden, Tim, Tash and all the other kind hearts who put time and effort into putting on a lovely little festival for a truly good cause.
I took some photos, all are here and some are here:

Visit Oxjam Kilburn here. Sometimes (mostly when it’s dark and/or red) I forget that it’s really fun to take photos.

She was absolutely incredible: breath-taking. One of those shows that goes by in a flash, without a single lull. BRILLIANT. Here are some photos for now, look forward to writing a gushing review tomorrow:

Would absolutely 100% recommend her show. Stunning.
